Dr Peter Nash
After a career spent in corporate and merchant banking in various countries Dr Nash retired in 1994 from Barclays Bank International New York to study naval history at King’s College London. He completed his Master’s Degree in 1996 and after a period as the Edward S. Miller Research Fellow in Naval History at the U.S. Naval War College in Rhode Island he gained his Doctorate degree at King’s College in 2006. He has written or given a number of papers on naval logistics since, including the publication in 2009 of his own book ‘The Development of Mobile Logistic Support in Anglo-American Naval Policy 1900-1953’ by University Press of Florida. He is also a past councillor of the Navy Records Society, a vice president of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets, and a fellow of the RSA.
