Aegean Caiques 1915-1980

Abstract

This article describes the different caique hull forms and sail rigs to be

seen in the Aegean during the early twentieth century. It then goes on with

some observations on the numerous building yards in operation in the Aegean

islands during the middle of the twentieth century and the different building

techniques employed.
