Abstract

The rigged model of a three-decker at Trinity House, London, has several interesting features. Whilst described as a model of the 100-gun Britannia of 1682, she is almost certainly in fact the Loyal London of 1666, one of the ships destroyed by the Dutch at Chatham in the following year.
