John Bourne, sometime Vice-Admiral

John Bourne is a little known flag officer from the Navy of the Commonwealth. However, he saw significant active service against the Dutch, fighting in every major action from the battle of Portland onwards, and being well regarded by both Monck and Blake. He was Blake’s Vice Admiral during his last campaign against the Spanish.
