Maritime and Ocean Affairs: Free Resource

June 2015

BIG_6833-Maritime-and-Ocean-Affairs-campaign_768x160pxRoutledge publishers have created a Maritime and Ocean Affairs collection, featuring articles that discuss our relationship with the ocean.

Routledge explain: ‘Seas and oceans cover 71% of the planet’s surface, and contain 96.5% of its water, so naturally it has taken up an important role in human culture for centuries. Although our understanding of the sea has developed, humans arguably fail to respect the awesome power of the waves from time to time, leading to environmental issues and maritime issues that could threaten our very existence.’

In response they have created a collection of over 200 maritime related articles and made these FREE to access until October.

The articles have been chosen to fit within a variety of headings. these include:

  • Environment, Conservation and Sustainability
  • Maritime Policy, Law and History
  • Security and Territorial Disputes
  • Piracy
  • Asia, China and the Arctic
  • Shipping
  • Fishing

They are also offering a 20% Discount on Maritime Book Titles.

The collection and the book offer can be accessed here.
