The brilliant Naval Dockyards Society have made their excellent Transactions available on Amazon – this is a hugely important resource for all naval and maritime historians 

The Naval Dockyards Society holds an annual conference and afterwards the papers from the conference are worked into a book called Transactions which is published annually although in some cases a volume will contain two or even three years’ of papers. This has been happening for the past 25 or so years and there are now no fewer than 17 volumes. They span many centuries and many oceans and cover many different topics. The last two books in the series are from conferences sponsored by SNR.
