The Warship Anne Trust, 4 July 2015

January 2015

In June 1690 a fleet of Anglo-Dutch ships fought off a French invasion fleet at the Battle of Beach Head. One English ship, the 70-gun Third Rate Anne, was burned after the battle and her remains can still seen on the beach at Hastings.

On 4 July 2015, The Warship Anne Trust is holding a one-day Conference at the Shipwreck Museum in Hastings to explore the context of the Anne’s wreck.
