Note: Cubbridge Head

Abstract

Callender offer an alternative meaning for Cubbridge Head to that offered by R Morton Nance in his item in MM Volume 2, Issue 8. In his view the phrase refers to the bulkhead at the end of a deck, rather than the actual deck itself.
