Notes on a Collection of Ship Models

By R C Anderson, published May 1942

Abstract

In this article, R C Anderson provides an update on his large collection of antique ship models. Each model is discussed in detail in an attempt to prove its providence and if possible identify the ship, a difficult task in most cases. Details of any repairs and re-rigging of the models is also given, to provide as much information as possible. Photographs of several of the models illustrate the article. As several of the models are on display in museums, he gives details of the museum, room and exhibit number where they could be seen.
