Abstract
George P. B. Naish, the serving Hon. Secretary of the Society, died in July 1977. He was elected Hon. Secretary in 1947, an office he held for thirty years. It was mainly due to his efforts during these years that the membership of the Society grew significantly. He was constantly concerned for the survival of H.M.S.
