Maritime History North

MHN was founded in 2012, partly through the initiative of the late Eric Grove, vice-president of SNR and a stalwart of the society for many years. It is a proactive body that organises seminars and conferences across the north of England, and has been closely involved in commemorating major anniversaries of the Battle of the Atlantic. SNR assists it through both regular grants to support its work and occasional one-off grants for some of the events it organises.  The MHN Facebook page can be found here.
