    Dear Mr. Lindsay, Mr. Blake and Mr. Rodgaard,

    Thank you very much for your comments. I think this artefact merits to end in a safe place such as a museum. I did not understand why it was put on the side of the road waiting for the garbage truck in a total disrespect (or ignorance) for the history behind this lovely portrait of a young child. I am happy to have been the one, together with my wife and kids, saving it from destruction. I imagine that there is a limited number of artefacts from the XVIII Century that survived in Nevis Island. That would be a great addition to a collection related to Lord Nelson. I am interested by any provenance information or families living in Canada (Quebec or Ontario) who are aware of any ancestors established in Nevis or in England and related to Fanny and Josiah Nisbet.
