Can anyone provide details of the history of The Nab tower off Portsmouth Harbour? I am told that it was a concrete structure built during the First World War and intended as an anchor point for the Dover Strait barrage and that it sank under tow. I need a specific date for the sinking.

    The Trinity House website, http://www.trinityhouse.co.uk/interactive/gallery/nab_tower.html,
