It is a rare treat to listen to the head of today’s Navy explaining its worldwide role in cooperation with other friendly nations. The Admiral also discussed the importance of tradition and history especially with regard to leadership. As an example, he highlighted the Arctic explorer Ernest Shackleton and the way he saved his men when stranded in South Georgia.
Might I suggest this interview is featured in the Mariners Mirror so we have a written record? Thank you, Sam, for organising this important item.
