I have found a reference to The Somerville Papers, published by the Navy Records Society, which mention the communications around the Battle of Cabo Palos (Cabo de Palos) of March, 1938 but I’m not sure whether it’s worth buying the book just for a few pages.
If anybody has a copy, would you be so kind as to let me know how much of the book deals with the Spanish Civil War, then I can make a better decision.
Regards
Tony Fuller
Hi Tony – I’ve attached the contents page and also the entries under ‘Spain’ – you will see three entries under Civil War. The cost of joining up (£40) is less than buying a hardback as a non-member (£60) – and if you join up you get access to everything the Navy Records Society has ever published, since 1893, and much cheaper book-buying options.

Hi Sam
I am a member of the NRS, I’ll order the book, plenty on Spain in general to make it worthwhile.
Many thanks.
