    – Has anyone ever described the Trafalgar awards in any detail with hints, approximations, or descriptions of disbursements paid along with the timing and information regarding amounts forfeited? If so, where can I find information beyond the below items?
    – I am aware of the 300,000 L prize money award of Sept. 1806 via the Gazette shows only the amounts for Petty Officers and Seamen (Gazette issue 15955. page 1201)
    – Also, I am aware of the 14th May 1811, Sir William Scott judgment in the dispute between the crews of HMS Donegal and Leviathan over El Rayo.
    – – I am Not able to determine how or when the special award of 300,000L was made available and paid out to the Admirals, Captains, Lieutenants, and Warrant officers Present i.e. The officers’ equivalent of Gazette issue 15955. page 1201
    – It seems to me Captain Hardy, Lt. Quilliam, and Mater Atkinson might have waited a long time before any sums went to their agents.
