I have been analysing the unanswered Questions & Answers in The Mariner’s Mirror, and below are those dating back to 1994 which have not been answered as of March 2015.

Prior to 2000 I have only given the number of the query, as these are in published indexes (& my hands were cramping with all the typing!). Apologies for any errors.

The current record for the longest gap between posing a question & having it answered is 94 years. Query 45 in 1912 (MM Vol 2:2, page 128), concerning the Figurehead of HMS Aboukir, waited until 2006 to be answered by Rear Admiral David Pulvertaft (MM 92:2, page 224).
