Abstract

Letter from the Admiralty to the Navy Board:- ” Gentlemen,-By command of the Right Honourable the Commissioners of the Admiralty this comes to desire you to send to the Fleet under command of the Right Honourable the Earle of Torrington now at the Spithead, Or to his Office, in order to be sent Thither, One hundred fighting Instruccions, Thirty or Forty Articles of Warr in Bookes, and One hundred in Sheets. So I remaine, Gentlemen, Your most humble Servant, P. Bowles. Admiralty Office, 12th June 89.”
